This short was created for the 2024 National College Student Advertising Art Competition. Our familiarity with sport was a major reason we chose SupNice from the available brands. Yet none of us had experience making a sports film, so we studied many references to understand how to convey athletic intensity and passion. We decided to follow an ensemble of athletes, which meant designing numerous sports scenes and facing more demanding shoots — from underwater footage in a swimming pool to filming four protagonists' home scenes in a single day. Handling post-production, I also devoted considerable time to learning color grading and sound design. Alongside fast-paced editing, I used sound effects and Foley to recreate and emphasize movement, and worked extensively to make colors consistent across scenes. Spanning more than two months, this project was an invaluable hands-on learning experience. I am deeply grateful to my hardworking teammates and everyone who appeared in the film!
